Fitted Wardrobes
Fitted Wardrobes from Preston Joinery Group
We build & supply made to measure fitted wardrobes for customers across the Preston and surrounding areas. Our customers want great value and great quality, without spending a fortune.
What can we say about our fitted wardrobes? You have choices, choices and more choices. So many choices that the world is literally your fitted wardrobes.
Fitted Wardrobes material choice
Your first choice will be what material would you like your fitted wardrobes made from? MDF?, MFC? or veneered plywood?
MDF
MDF fitted wardrobes are an extremely popular choice. They offer such versatility in fitted wardrobe design and can be designed to fit in any colour scheme.
MFC
MFC stands for Melamine Faced Chipboard, essentially “plastic-wrapped” chipboard. Another popular choice ,although more expensive than MDF, these fitted wardrobes come in a range of standard colours and a wider range of pseudo wood grains and colours can be ordered.
Veneered Plywood
Veneered plywood is certainly the most expensive option but you can’t argue that a real wood finish on fitted wardrobe carcasses is hard to beat!
All of our fitted wardrobe's carcasses and doors are made from robust 18mm thick material, regardless of your material choice. Your fitted wardrobes will be made to last!!
Floating shelves?, fixed shelves?, hanging rails?, drawer systems?
So much to choose from. Do you want full ceiling height fitted wardrobes with double rail systems? Drawer systems hidden behind the wardrobe doors? Do you want shelves that you can move or fixed shelves?..or both? Get in touch with us and we’ll gladly talk through your options.
Hinge Options
We use Blum hinges, unless otherwise requested. Over the years we have found those to be best.
Even though we would recommend Blum hinges, you still have a huge range of options. Soft close hinges? Thick door hinges? Push to open (un-sprung) hinges? Onyx black hinges?
The wardrobe design of the doors also effects your hinge choices. Full overlay doors, half overlay? Inset doors?
Using Preston Joinery Group for your fitted wardrobes means you are in good hands and can discuss the pros and cons of each hinge decision. Just get in touch with us to start the ball rolling
Handle Options
If you thought you had options previously, your options for handles are endless! Have you seen some you like? You can source the handles yourself or we can do it for you. We can advise based on the design of your wardrobes, your budget or your other furniture.
Your handle decision can be left until after your wardrobes have been manufactured and even installed. Our one request is to be notified if you want routered finger pull handles because these have to be included in the manufacturing process
Finger Pull Handles
Routered finger pull handles need to be requested before the manufacturing process is started
